How long have you been doing CrossFit and how did you get started?

I started Crossfit back in 2009 at Crossfit Billings with Bri!!. I got into Crossfit at first because I was challenged by a good friend (Dru Rietz-Weems). After I could regain the feeling in my extremities I used Crossfit to help fill the physical void left behind by no longer playing ice hockey.

Favorite WOD and why?

Any type of workout with a barbell, like DT. I enjoy the technical skill it takes to really move a barbell efficiently, plus when done right they look so cool.


Favorite thing about coaching and what is my style?

The best part about coaching is seeing the growth within an athlete. Every athlete has different personal goals. There is no better feeling than seeing someone accomplish their goals. That is just the greatest feeling, I'd rather see an athlete PR than me.
